'Battle For The Rings'
coming to League City

 

2019 Battle for the Rings - League City
  The Grand Championship of Texas Softball is coming to Houston/League City in July. The Men's B, Men's C, Men's D and Mixed divisions of the Lone Star Shootout "Battle For The Rings" will be held July 20-21 at Big League Dreams and Houston Sportsplex, while the Men's E, Women's (all divisions) and Men's Seniors will be held July 27-28. Some of the area features are Galveston Island with the beaches and Pleasure Pier, NASA Command Center, Kemah Boardwalk, Schlitterbahn, Horse Racing, Top Golf and a weekend series between the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers at Minute Maid Park.

 The Lone Star Shootout Series "Battle For The Rings" Week 1 was held July 21-22 at Big League Dreams in Mansfield, Texas. Teams battled all year to qualify the Grand Championship of Texas Softball. In Men's B, Insidious (Tulsa, Okla.) was the Champion and Wood Law (Dallas) was Runnerup. In Men's C, Dirty Vegas (Beaumont) was Champion while Whut It Dew (Austin) was Runnerups. In Men's D, Hooliganz (Houston) were Champions and HardLuck (Corpus Christi) was Runnerup. In Mixed B/C, Too Live Crew/VSP (Baytown) was Champion and Tha Outsiderz (Sugar Land) were Runnerups. IN Mixed D/E, Amigos De Tu Mama (McAllen) was Champions and Slap Pitches (San Antonio) were Runnerups.

2019 Battle for the Rings - League City
2018-7-28 LONE STAR BATTLE FOR THE RINGS 2   The second weekend of the Lone Star Shootout Series "Battle For The Rings" was held July 28-29 at Big League Dreams in Mansfield, Texas. In Men's 40 & Over, Powerhouse Sportz (Princeton) was the Champion while Frank's Country Store (Bryan) was Runnerup. In Men's E, BroSox/ArkFabrications were Champions and CTX CA$H/Berserk Athletics (Austin) was Runnerup. In Women's A/B, Texas Sports/Armor Gel/Mizuno (Spring) was Champion and Famous Freaks/PowerhouseSportz (Denton) was Runnerup. In Women's C, Texas Elite (League City) was Champion while Karma/KMA/Dynasty (Brownwood) was Runnerup. In Women's D, NTX Crush (Dallas) was Champions and Lady YNK (Richmond) was Runnerups.  

AMPM/PTS/GVMS/24-7/TI (Houston) was the Champion, while Brian's Custom Fetailing (Grand Prairie) was the Runnerup. In Men's D, Smash/913 Sports (Austin) claimed 1st Place and NTX Brew Crew/BC Sports (Ft. Worth) took 2nd Place. In Men's E, Texs Natives (Houston) was the Champion and I'd Hit That/ STX Most Wanted (San Antonio) was the Runnerup. In Mixed B/C, TooLiveCrew (Houston) captured 1st Place, while U2/Get Off My Hands Sports (La Feria) caem in 2nd. In Mixed D/E, the Champion was Relapse (Stamford) and the Runnerup was Pinata Whackers (Austin). In Women's A/B, Bryant Express (Bryant, Arkansas) took the Championship game by defeating Texas Sports/Armor Gel/Mizuno (Spring). In Women's C, 1st Place went to Southern Sass (Corinth), while 2nd went to Hit Squad/Team DG (Midland). In Women's D, Nice Snatch (Montgomery) was the Champion and Suicide Squad (Yoakum) was the Runnerup. Congratulations to all the great teams who qualified for and participated in this event.
